At times like this, I'm thinking that I know myself..
theres pictures of me as a kid up on my bedroom shelf
a wealth of happiness shining through the frames
now its driving me insane, things will never be the same!
Jokes.. I'm okay I guess its one of those days
just writing down my thoughts isn't helping anyway
I wanna get out.. ahh, nah.. maybe not.
Is it time i forgave? Is it time I forgot?
I wander round the corners of my maze-like mind
in the mirror of madness where
I felt like the time, I'm going round and round and round
and around about now..

Why can't I sleep when I'm thinking of you?
You lay beside me, I know your heart is true
I think about what you said to me..
Before you faded out, faded out to sleep.
Now my thoughts are running wild, the silence is deadly.
and all my demons they start to smile; the enemy's friendly.
I need a muse to write my music
now my tunes come to a holt.
re arranging what I'm thinking its like mental assault.
I gotta chill, I gotta chill, Ive got to give her the space..
but is it me who really needs it? I feel trapped, I'm a state!
If I'm the man you really need you need to just let go
put back in what you receive you see you reap what you sow.
You reap what you sow don't you know?
This place I go, oh it isn't far from here
I just close my eyes sometimes at night and realise
I can re-appear!
But now Im trapped in between!
the realms of the unseen; could this be a dream? or is this reality?
Theres lucid similarity... or maybe its just me?

Opening my eyes, I see the sky!
I feel the waves crash nearby.
As I adjust to the light I feel revitalised, and I smile;
Must have been asleep for quite a while!
Was it all in my mind?
